Formula for Start1 and Finish1 fields RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to create additional Start and Finish dates in my schedule to reflect another timezone.  This is a multi-country workplan/schedule and I need to be able to show timezones for multiple countries.  I have tried using the formula [Start]+Hour(5) and it only computes to [Start] and does not add on 5 hours to reflect GMT.  If I add a whole number after [Start], it adds that many DAYS.  I need to add hours; I have tried 5h, 5hrs, 5hours and none of those worked.  So I tried using the Function Hour( time ) and that doesn't work either.  Please advise!

The Hour function is not what you want. When presented with a time variable (e.g 8:26:14), it will give you the value "8". The function you want is DateAdd(). Try the following in Start1.

    DateAdd("h",5,[Start])
