I have a client who is running Vista. When i first did work on the computer it was missing many of the updates (windows, java, etc...). It also had quite a few malware entries and a few viruses. I removed the malware using Kaspersky and Spybot S&D, and
the computer was running great. A few weeks later the client called back saying that the computer was running poorly again, i followed up with another set of scans and the computer was running well again. I just received another call today and the
client says that the computer is running worse than when i first came.
I use these same programs to protect and maintain my own computers and never had this issue. Is there a possibility that i am missing something in the configuration of the OS or does it seem like a factory reset is in order?
