Outlook 2013 keeps crashing in RDS environment RRS feed

  • Question

  • Few of our users are having troubles in with Outlook 2013 in RDS environments, Windows Server 2012 R2.

Outlook keeps on crashing over and over again. We tried updating Office 2013 and have updated server as well but the problem persists.

We have 40plus users but only few users are facing this issue. I have tried in safe mode as well but still the same problem.

Any suggestion or anyone who knows how to solve this issue ?

  • Hi,

What's your account type? Exchange, POP, IMAP?

Please try creating a new profile on one problematic client to see if it helps.

We can setup the same account on other computers instead of RDS environment to narrow down if the issue is related to different computer.

Besides, please try repairing Office to check the result. To do this, please go to Control Pane > Programs and Features. Right click your Office suit. Click Change and then click Repair.

What’s more, you can open the Event Viewer and look at the Application Log for any error events that are registered by Outlook or happened at the time when Outlook crash.

Any updates, please feel free to post back.

    Regards,

    Perry
