List Protection Groups that have colocation enabled RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    on DPM 2012 R2

    Is there a way to easily tell which PG's have colocation enabled ?  possibly thru Powershell ?

    at the moment the only way seems to go to "Modify Disk Allocation" and if the replica volume's in the groups are 250GB, then it probably has that enabled. We have over 20 Protection groups and it literally takes me around 50 Minutes to open the "Modify Disk allocation window"...

    Thank you

  • Hi,

    This powershell script should provide what your looking for.

    $pg = get-protectiongroup (&hostname)
    foreach ($pg1 in $pg)
    {
    $pg1
    get-datasource $pg1  | sort-object -property replicapath | ft replicapath, name, diskallocation -AutoSize
    }
