View Measure beside a KPI as columns in PPS RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to create the below Report/Scorecard using PPS Dashboard Designer, the trick is to have  measure value, then KPI value in same report as columns, the below shows the requested case. How I can do such thing?

      Measure Value KPI Value Driver1 Driver2 Driver3
    Area1 30 23% 10 10 10
    16% 20% 23%
    Area2 60 44% 20 20 20
    19% 30% 50%
    Area3 90 11% 30 30 30
    9% 7% 15%

  • What exactly are you trying to make a Scorecard or a Report?

For a scorecard what you can do for each KPI which in your case would be 'Area1', 'Area2' etc.

    1. Add New Target columns.
    2. Select your Source and measure in 'Data Mapping'
    3. Set to 'Source Data' in 'Calculations'
    4. Rename from Target to whatever you like.

On a scorecard this would appear under 'Metrics'.Drag to where you need to show this column.

    Hope it helps.

  • Thank you Umair, my problem is that I need to have the same design as above, your solution is helpful but the shape of scorecards wouldn't be exactly as above, like you see that some cells have 2 values and others only one, do you have any extra idea?

  • I was looking around and found that entering something like

    " + "B"

in the MDX expression move B to new line. So what you can try is concatenate your values in the MDX expression with 'carriage return' which would move the value to new line.

Perhaps some MDX expert can help on this since I have failed to concatenate 2 values by "+" although they are string.
