OneNote Screen Clipping in Edge RRS feed

  • Question

  • Was looking to put this under an "Edge" category but there is only Internet Explorer.

Wondering if anyone can help please.

We use the Screen Clipper in OneNote. With Internet Explorer, the clipping contains a title and web-address reference at the bottom, but with Edge this part is missing from the clipping.

I've tried allowing the One Note extension using Group Policy, then adding One Note to the Edge browser via Edge extensions, but that doesn't fix it.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks very much

    Chris

  • On a PC keyboard, press the Windows+Shift+S keys simultaneously. When the screen dims, use your mouse to click and drag around the part of the screen you want to capture. Your screen clipping is immediately sent to the clipboard so that you can paste it into any application, including OneNote.

  • Appreciate the response, but I think you've misunderstood the issue; we know how to use OneNote and take screen clippings.

The issue is that when clipping in Internet Explorer, you get a reference of the web-address the clipping was taken from. With Edge, you do not get this reference after taking a clipping.
