remote.domain.com security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a SBS 2008 server running using a dyndns account to provide remote web workplace for external users.  I changed the server SSL certificate to one created with a dyndns FQDN.  Now every outlook client in the domain recieves a security alert when opening outlook stating that the name on the security certifcate is invalid or does not match the name of the site.  I cannot change the internet domain name from the wizard in the SBS console because it will in turn change the @domain.com for all of the email address on exchange.  I need to know how to change the internet domain name without affecting all of the remote users.  The remote users are able to connect to workstation via RWW without any certificate errors.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
