Newly recommended hotfixes etc. for RDS servers and clients RRS feed

  • Question

  • This blog talks about them.

    https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/enterprisemobility/2016/06/06/recommended-hotfixes-and-updates-for-remote-desktop-services-in-windows-server-2012-r2/

Missing information: which ones of these are sent to servers by WSUS?? All?? Some?? None??

Please elucidate. I also commented in the blog too.

    Thank you, Tom

  • Hi Tom,

on the article below you can see for which channels an update was made available:

Description of Software Update Services and Windows Server Update Services changes in content for 2016

     https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/894199>

If they were not released in 2016, at the end of the article you can find links for 2015, 2014 and so on.

Also if the update is available on the Microsoft Update Catalog, you most likely have it in WSUS already and if not in most cases you can import it into WSUS from the Catalog:

    http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx

    Best regards,
