We run a small SBS 2011 network with approx. 20 users. The server update database keeps growing and stays around 23GB even after attempting to run the Server Cleanup Wizard. I've run the wizard one option at a time, it manages to free some space on the root
drive, but then it grows again only leaving a few gig's of free space.
In an attempt to alleviate this issue, I was attempting to choose the option "Do not store update files locally, computers install from Microsoft Update".
After selecting Apply and OK it now continues to say "Cannot save configuration because the server is still processing a previous configuration change" and its been saying this for over a week now. In addition to this the console also stops
responding and requires resetting the server node.
Console (Updates) also stops responding.
Is there anything I can do to see whats going on or force a reset of the update system?
Thank you in advance for any help.
