    I'm having issues where my client pc are note able to connect to my wsus server please see log below.

    Could you provide the information asked above?

    If your WSUS server is 2012 or 2012 R2, then the default http port is 8530 and we need to append the port to the URL, if your WSUS server is 2008 or 2008 r2, the default http port is 80, we do not need to append the port.

    Also check the DNS resolution, you may use the IP address of the WSUS server in the URL, for example, (wsus 2012R2), http://192.168.2.5:8530, check if use the WSUS server's IP address could work.

    If IP address still couldn't work, also try resetting windows update component on client:

    Could you please give us a little more detail about your infra.

    What is your wsus server version (2008 or 2012)?

    Clients are windows 7, 8 or 10?

    Is this a first time connection?

    AFAIK hostnames may not contain underscores.

    For example see the wiki:

    Depending on your environment, this might be, or not be, a problem.
