  • Question

  • Is there a way to find out the difference between the following Project 2007 version numbers: 12.0.6607.1000 and 12.0.6662.5000?  Is there a version number list?

    Thanks!

  • Hank,

At least a partial answer. Version 12.0.6607.1000 is the release version of Project 2007 with SP3 installed. I know that because it's what I have.

According to the following KB article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2596808), version 12.0.6670.5000 is the Dec 2012 cumulative update version. Therefore I assume version 12.0.6662.5000 is a previous cumulative update, perhaps the Oct 2012 cumulative update.

    Hope this helps.
