How can I launch virtual applications using command line...eg. start--run--excel.exe

Hello,
Check a shortcut (to whatever desired application you want) and see what command-line it executes.

With App-V application, you have to use sfttray.exe for all launches:
Start -> Run -> sfttray.exe /launch "Application Name"
There isn't direct way to invoke the target exe as App-V Client needs to establish virtual environment first.

The Windows Vista and Windows 7 Start Menu make it simple to start applications by just hitting the Windows key and type a few letters or words from the application's shortcut name - not quite the same but simpler than the SFTTRAY command line.
