Change System Interface Language RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We recently upgraded the system of our customers to Windows 10 and we have a user who would like to change his display language to English.

After adding the language through the controll panel, as MS suggests, it briefly searches Windows updates and proceeds to do nothing. We also cannot see the option to install the language pack after clicking options, changing the default language and logging off and on or see any other way to install this language. We do not have single language versions.

An important detail might be we are using Intune. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be much appreciated.

     net stop wuauserv
      cd %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution
      ren Download Download.old
      net start wuauserv

If the issue persists, please check the windowsupdate.log for more information to troubleshoot this issue. Open a powershell command line and run "get-windowsupdatelog"
