History in internet explorer displaying history of my computer

Hi

windows 7 and windows 8 clients using ie version 9 and 10 are having their my computer history displayed in ie history tab.

how can i enable only ie history and not my computer history in ie

Hi,

Based on my knowledge, in Temporary Internet Files folder (C:\Users\Your account\ AppData\ Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files), it stored the content of webpage we visited recently. That is, IE cache is stored in this folder which take up so many disk space if we don’t clear it regularly.

In History (C:\Users\ Your account \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History), it recorded webpage history you visited, which is consistent with History (Alt + C) in IE.

What do you mean of computer history?

Open Control Panel and open indexing options and re-index internet explorer.
