  • Question

  • I am trying to upload a picture to be the Logo image on my sharepoint site. I changed it to 60x60 pixels and made it a .png and have it being hosted on an image site. When I upload it I just get a box with a red X in it. Any ideas?

    Thank you.

  • In my opinion you need to make sure that the image is an a location where it is freely accessible by anyone.

Typically the red cross means that either that the image does not exist at that location or the person using the browser has no access rights to the location.

  • I had the same problem when I switched from http to https.  The picture is being sent http and is not secure content, therefore error.  Can be fixed by adjusting browser settings to display mixed content.
