Forefront working/not? Conflict? I'm lost! RRS feed

  • I have had this computer since last November, and have constantly had to do a spell search to even find Forefront.  I don't know if it's working or not. Have downloaded other malware/spyware/anti-virus programs and am constantly coming up with unwanted objects.  Have tried to activate a separate antivirus program but get a warning about Forefront already installed. I don't even know what the program does, how to access it/get updates/do scans--nothing!  Ran diagnostic program on computer this a.m. and it says I HAVE NO antivirus programs working.  Do I override Forefront and use another program?  Duh.....
