  • Question

  • When devices are connected via USB they are recognized initially, but the wizard is asking for a disk and denies connectivity.  Any tips?

  • Have you checked permissions on USBSTOR.inf file?

Also verify that devices that are being connected are working on other systems.

  • Hello Yodeler.

Sometimes installing a USB device could require running a setup program provided on a disc to have all the needed drivers and software installed before plugging in the device, thus allowing to system to recognize and use the device as soon as it is connected to the PC.
Which kind of device are you trying to install?

    Bye.
