Unknown Error has occurred RRS feed

  • The message 'unknown error has occurred' has started to appear more frequently of late when I am deleting or moving emails from Windows Live Mail. It started about 6 months ago but seemed to be intermittent. It now seems to be happening most of the time and I am now left with 150 emails in the inbox which is getting awkward to handle.

    Tried some of actions suggested by others including uninstalling/re-installing without success. Failed to delete update KB2454826 suggested by someone even though that update is installed on my Windows 7 system.

    Is there a known fix for this
