  • Very strange, before tell you, I have tested first two methods, both of them worked. Maybe your system is kind of special.

About block online gambling websites software, sorry, I really don't know.

  • Hi h.david,

In general, there are three methods to block specific websites on Computer Windows 10

Method #1: Block Websites from Router's Web Interface

Step 1. Open any of your web browser, and type in your Router's IP address into the URL bar. If you have forgotten it somehow, you can try out with any of these:

Step 2. Now; enter you username and password to enter the router's main Dashboard or interface.

Step 3. Look for the section labeled as "Access Restrictions"

Step 4. Provide all the details of the users and the websites you would like to block and save the changes.

Your problem is solved as the added websites would be blocked the next time they are tried to be opened from your Windows 10 PC.

Method #2: Block Websites by Editing Hosts File in Windows 10

This way you have tried, note: place cursor to the bottom line and hit "Enter" to start a new line, and type 127.0.0.1 space website. Save changes.

Method #3: Block Websites using third-party tool such as URL Blocker

    Have a try.

    Regards

    now it works

    thank you
