issue in auto sccm client upgrade to production devices RRS feed

  • hello.

    I recently upgrade sccm 1902 to SCCM 1910. and verified that the sccm client version is upgraded on per-production test devices worked .The setting Client Upgrade in the Hierarchy Settings Properties,  selected upgrade all clients in the hierarchy using production client. but still it s not upgraded any of production devices with new client version of sccm1910(MEM).also note that the client package is showing in progress for remote DP.
    Please help.

    Under Administration > Updates and Servicing > select the SCCM 1910 package and click "Promote the Pre-production Client" option available in the top ribbon.

    Go to Packages, select "Configuration Manager Client Package" and click "Update Distribution Points", you can check the distmgr.log file to monitor the distribution progress.

    Please check distmgr.log and pkgXferMgr.log first for more details about the distribution of client package.

    Thank you very much for the update. I'm glad the problem is solved now. Here's a short summary for the problem.

    Problem/Symptom:
    ===================
    SCCM per-production clients upgrade worked, but production clients do not upgrade, and the client package is showing in progress for remote DP.
