Need advice.

Hi,
I want to learn Windows Server 2012 and Hyper-V for it. I got a new Windows 8 Pro computer and I think I have to choose between two options:
First option is setup a Dual booting between Windows 8 and Windows Server2012 (while creating a new VHD) and then setup Hyper-V for Windows Server 2012 on the top of Windows Server2012.
Second option is install a Hyper-V which came with a Windows 8 Pro and Install a Windows Server 2012 on the top of this Hyper-V.
Can somebody please give me advice which way is preferable for accomplishing my task.
Thank you in advance.

HI,
Why not use Hyper-V on Windows 8?
You can get Hyper-V on Windows 8 if your machine meet:
1 64Bit operation
2 CPU should support Second Level Address Translation (SLAT),

3 At least 4G Ram
4 Enable virtualization on BIOSLeo Huang

I did it because so far was not able to create a dual booting for my win 8 with a server 2012. Unfortunately Hyper V on Windows 8 doesn't have all features. For example I can't play with Replication. But for now that is OK. I hope I will able to setup a dual booting later.Monday, December 3, 2012 12:48 AM
