ECP not working RRS feed

  • Greetings,

    I am working for Microsoft Partner and one of our customer have an issue. Customer have existing Exchange 2016 CU12 with two mailbox servers in main site and newly deployed mailbox server in DR site (still not added to DAG).

    When the customer try open ECP, it gives blank page after putting the credentials. Note that when the customer try to login to ECP using another exchange admin, ecp works fine.

    I need to know why his account (which is exch admin) can't login. admin rights on the account have the issue still the same with no change.

    Is there any issue when accessing OWA using the admin account?

    How did you try to access ECP? What if we access https://localhots/ecp on the Exchange server?

    Sometimes you need to specify the Exchange version, try with ?ExchClientVer=15 at the end and see if that works. E.g https://mail.contoso.com/ecp/?ExchClientVer=15 or https://MBX01/ecp/?ExchClientVer=15.

    Besides, is there any log in the Event Viewer when this issue happened? You may also check the logs under ECP logs folder:

    C:\Program files\Microsoft\Exchange server\v15\loging\ecp

  • Thanks for Your replies.

    Issue resolved. Customer have a network issue between Exchange in main site and DR site.

    I found that exchange admin i am using to login to ECP stored on DB on EX in DR. Once i moved this admin to DB in HQ, ECP login issue resolved.

    Customer is still checking the network issue between two sites but at least this issue resolved.
