[Solved] Confusion about the number of users per license RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello!

I have a question about the number of users for the Project Online Premium/Professional products.

On Microsofts product page there's a price per user. Then, when you scroll down it says you can install the software on up to 5 PCs. Does that mean that actually 5 people can work with it but under the same user or will people be unable to use the software if someone else uses the license they have installed at the moment?

    Thanks in advance!

  • As mentioned by dale,

the license is only for 1 actual user.

that same user may install it on other machines ie his/her laptop or desktop so they can access thier email from more than 1 device hence the multiple device installation

To be in compliance with Microsoft's licensing terms, you need one license per user.  Once you have set up the license for a user, the user can then install the software on up to 5 PCs.  Hope this helps.
