I am ready to upgrade to a new hp desktop. I am currently running xp but am concerned about running some of my programs on windows 7. Especially Microsoft flight sim. X Any advice?Saturday, December 17, 2011 9:14 PM

Download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade advisor on your XP system. You will get some errors related to your XP hardware but you should see if your installed programs will work. You could also go to the Windows 7 compatabilty center . To be safe, check for the 64 bi versions of your peripheral and software.
