    I am encountering a bug in SharePoint where sometimes duplicate items appear when I upload multiple items using datasheet view.

    Hi,

    I tried to reproduce this issue, but it worked well for me.

    Did you find some related error form 12 hive? Did you customize on this document library?

    Check whether this issue is particular and isolate.

    Check whether there are lookup fileds leading to this issue, refer to the similar post,

    Hi Daniel,

    I am facing the same issue. I have got the List containing two lookup columns and one multiple line comments field (append). I have created the same issue what the user is facing. Everytime I edit in datasheet view I get the last appended comments duplicated in the new record. And this does not occur if I edit using Edit Form. Can you help ?
