  • What if you do

    Get-SystemMessage -Original | where {$_.identity -eq " en\internal\5.7.1"}

    Get-SystemMessage -Original | where {$_.identity -eq " en\internal\5.7.1"} -domaincontroller torysrv01.tory.local

    How many DC's do you have?

  • If you are creating a new message, use New-SystemMessage to create the custom message. You use Set-SystemMessage to modify custom messages that already exist.

    See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998878(v=EXCHG.80).aspx for info on New-SystemMessage.
