How to Protect Share Point 2010 on Secondary DPM 2010 Server RRS feed

  • HI All

    Am using DPM 2010 for Share Point 2010 Backup I have primary DPM server on which I have configured SPS 2010 form backup with help of Microsoft article long back and its working fine since months now I have setup secondary DPM Server so can an body help me how to protect my SPS 2010 in Secondary DPM server

  • Hi,

    There is nothing unique about Sharepoint. You secondarily protect it like all other data sources.  Create a new protection group, or modify an existing one, expand out the Primary DPM server, Under "protected servers" expand out the Sharepoint server and Sharepoint icon should be listed as a protectable item, check it and continue though the wizard.

    Thanks for your replay and info provided by you I have already setup secondary DPM Server and configured for many services including exchange but am facing some issues with share point so I have posted this I want to know the procedure for Protecting Share Point 2010 by secondary DPM appreciate  if you can help on this
