  • Hi,

For this kind of issue, please test in the clean boot mode to check if this issue persists firstly:

How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista

  • I've tried to think this through, but there is really no sense to this error. Sometimes it happens for weeks at a time, sometimes it does not happen. Microsoft really needs to figure this out. Microsoft knows what actually causes this error message, but Microsoft is not telling us what.

I think the responsibility to explain this error lies with Microsoft, not its customers.

And no one has commented on the unhelpfulness of the message. It does not give the process name or number or any other information that could help in finding the problem.

Executive Summary: Microsoft sucks. It has bugs in its products and does not understand its own internals.

I am not going to test using "clean boot mode". I wouldn't trust it!
