typing . in command line syntax RRS feed

  • Question

  • My users have included alot of .'s in their file shares.  I'm having issues editing permissions and have been using icacls to confirm prermissions have been applied appropriately.  However I have one department that used a number naming convention i.e. 1.2.3.4. and so on I'm seeking assistance in how I can have the . recognized as part of the file structure.
