Customizing Issue List for project Site Template RRS feed

  • Hello

    how customize the issue List for project Site Template, issue list is not part of the project Site Temple when creating a project site template. i used the below reference link

  • Hi,

    Try to go to Site Action > Site Settings > Manage site features. Deactivate and Activate the ‘Project Web App Connectivity’. It should recreate the default lists. Then save again your site as template.

  • Hi,

      Customizing a project site list is similar to SharePoint site list customization. You modify, add columns to the list in the Issue list as you do in regular SharePoint site list. Once done with the list you can save that particular site as a site template and use it in your EPT to be combined with your plan template.

      As a best practice you can use a blank site so you wont have to worry about meta data, documents etc.

      Note: Customization of default issues and risks list will void default issues and risk reports.
