Block iCloud via GPO?

    Question

  • We have compliance requirements that make cloud storage a big no-no. So, what I am wondering is if there is a way to allow the roll-out of iTunes to employees who wish to have it while having a GPO that restricts employees from using iCloud or restricts the package from installing iCloud?

    Easy :)

If you want to deploy itunes, grab the individual MSIs from the
installer (7-zip allows to extract), then drop icloud.msi.

And to prevent them from doing on their own: Do not make them admins and
    enable AppLocker rules for MSI.

Mal ein GUTES Buch über GPOs lesen?

NO THEY ARE NOT EVIL, if you know what you are doing: Good or bad GPOs?
And if IT bothers me - coke bottle design refreshment :))
