Threads don't show all replies

I sent in an email about this issue this morning but I haven't heard anything back yet.

These issues still exist, I've been going back and forth with the forums team over the weekend.
Just sent in another email with another batch of threads that seem to be out of sync.

From what I can tell, clearing cache and history won't help anything. I see the same missing replies when looking at threads with multiple browsers, so I'm not really sure that this issue is on our end.

I see one reply from Olaf. If I bring up the thread RSS view, I can see Brenda's response. The RSS view is basically the only way I can keep up with certain threads now.

Naomi, your last response isn't currently showing in the thread view for me, but I saw it via the RSS feed. I also ran into a thread today where I tried to mark a proposed answer but couldn't because someone else (Dave Patrick) had already proposed it. The view I saw had no indication that the post was already proposed as an answer.
Methinks you're correct and that these issues are related.

I doubt there's much we can reliably do to force the threads to properly display. I just keep refreshing them every now and again to see if the thread comes into sync. Some do, some don't.

Posting to bring it back into sync.
EDIT: I can see the Connect item as well now.

On two separate posts I replied to; my reply had disappeared. On both occasions I duplicated my reply and then they both showed up.

Seems to be working pretty well for me over the last two days. I haven't noticed any missing replies as of yet.

This problem has been inmtermittent for months now. Only since September has it become rather annoying. Here's an example of an entire forum frozen in time. The main tread list show last post was almost 7 hours ago.

I wonder if this is a valid way to report a bug since this post will likely show up only after the problem magically 'heals' itself. I think there are caching problems on the server side.

There are problems with the forums right now. The web interface isn't updating at all.
