Win 7 Speech Recognition stops working when I reboot the computer RRS feed

  • Question

  • I installed Win 7 Speech Recognition  and was quite happy with it until I realized that rebooting my computer would send it in to a tail spin. When the computer comes back on and I open WSR it types everything in the little communication window that usually says "listening". I have to unplug and reconfigure the microphone several times and then all of a sudden by some miracle it starts working again. Anyone have this problem?

  • After cleaning the registry it seems to work again as it should. Keeping fingers crossed that this was the fix. Thanks
