  • Question

  •

Can anyone tell me where I can download Vista drivers for the Desktop 700 set?
All the places I tried e.g. Technet, Downloads, www.microsoft.com/hardware did not have this set in the drop down list.  From memory the Vista drivers did not come with the set but had to be downloaded.

    Thanks,

  • Hi David,

Microsoft Windows Vista native supports Wireless Optical Desktop 700. No driver is needed. You can plug in the receiver and use it directly.

For more information, please refer to the following document:

Wireless Optical Desktop 700 technical Data Sheet (Adobe Reader required):

    http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/1/f/91f19ea7-6de0-4e03-b00a-56bf61b61b5e/TDS_WirelessOpticalDesktop700v2%200_0710A.pdf

Please note "Compatibility and Localization": No software required.

    Hope it helps.

  • I am also in need of some sort of driver. The keyboard and mouse run great on my XP system, but the mouse times out after five minutes of non use and I have to reconnect it. Any ideas?

  • Yeah.. it sucks but I found out there is no software and it's atimeout to save battery life. They say Clck the mouse buttons or scroll the wheel to make it wake up... t's worked so far for me..

  • There's a problem with the mouse installation on vista. When I plug the USB into my computer I get the following message:
