  • What is these terms in project online "Roll up at project level, summary level, assignment level"???

    Please brief with example.

  • Hi Abbas, I presume you are seeing this term when creating Custom Fields?  Generally it will be asking how you want the field 'rolled-up' or aggregated, at the various levels.  As an example you might have a field representing a numeric quantity that you want added up for each task below a summary, then the total shown for the summary, and the grand total at the project level.  You may have a number representing the risk relating to the task - in which case having the maximum show at the summary and project level may be more appropriate - or another example might be a calculation - where you just want the same formula used at the summary level rather than rolling up any of the numbers.  For assignments there can be more than one assignment per task - so in this case you can choose to roll-down the task level field unless the field is manually entered at the assignment level.
