SCOM 2012 TEST-ActiveSyncConnectivity RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

I am running SCOM 2012 and i have imorted and configured the Exchange 2010 MP. We are currently in the middle of a migration from EX2007 to EX2010, and i am not planning on installing the MP for EX2007. I need a way to monitor ActiveSync access on the 2007 CAS server.  I know i can manually run the test-ActiveSyncConnectivity command, i.e Test-ActiveSyncConnectivity -MailboxCredential (Get-Credential domain\username) -url https://mail.mydomain.com/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync

Running the above command will give me an indication of the health of ActiveSync on the 2007 server, as long as i specify a mailbox that its on the 2007 server. Is there a way to configure SCOM to run the above command on a timed basis and generate an alert of the command fails to run or returns an error?
