Email search via Windows Explorer not working

After migrating from MS Office 2010 to 2016 I noticed that searching of email messages via Windows Explorer is not working anymore. This is even after allowing the rebuilding of indexes and it happened for all users that we have in our office.

Can anybody formally confirm that this feature is not anymore available on MS Office 2016

Hi Don,

Whether or not you can search for Outlook items in the Start Menu or Start Screen would depend on your version of Outlook and Windows. However, since Outlook 2013, support for searching for Outlook items outside of Outlook has been dropped entirely for any Windows version.
