All my exist batch file won't work after uninstall a program. RRS feed

  • I am running Windows 7 64bit edition, after uninstall a program. There are two problem occured:

    First,

    After cmd at Dos prompt, and run 'telnet' get error return "'telnet' is not recognized as an internal or external command,"

    But, I can do "cd c:\Windows\system32,  than  'telnet' " from there.

    2nd, I run all my exciting batch files, no one is working even just two line" line-1 '@echo off' , line-2 'cmd "

  • I suggest you run System Restore to back to a fine status.

    If System Restore does not help, please manually enable Telnet in Windows 7.

    For batch file issues, please:

    1. Open Notepad.
    2. Paste the following contents into Notepad.


    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.bat]
    @="batfile"

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.bat\PersistentHandler]
    @="{5e941d80-bf96-11cd-b579-08002b30bfeb}"


    3. Save the file as *.reg file.
    4. Run the *.reg file to change the related Registry settings.
