Win 7 gadget problems RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm running win 7 home premium 64.  When I open the Gadget Galley and install any gadget all I get a square or rectangular shaped figure on my desktop.  I've tried all suggested solutions but none have made any difference.  I even reinstalled my display driver.

I hate to do a full system restore but unless somebody can suggest how the platform can be reinstalled from scratch, that is what I will have to do.

If you know a way to avoid the full restore, I'd appreciate you sharing it.
