  You can import Excel Spreadsheet as as custom list in SharePoint. For more information read

  Import excel sheets is available as OOB feature. The following steps apply to both SP 2007 and SP 2010.

  1. Go to site settings -> (Custom) Lists -> Import Spreadsheets.

  Browse for an appropriate file to import. The file will be imported as a list.
