Internet Explorer prints (& previews prints) in blank pages RRS feed

    Our users are experiencing issues the same or similar to those in KB973479 - that printing and print preview produce blank pages when printing from within Protected Mode. Obviously we're not about to disable Protected Mode for the sake of a few printouts - but the workarounds in the knowledge base aren't really applicable for domain users - the local user profile cache is ephemeral and so recreating the folder & setting integrity levels on that is pretty pointless.

    It's affecting fresh profiles so essentially the Local\Temp\Low folder isn't being created correctly in the first place - it hasn't just been deleted. Oddly students do get this folder created, but not staff. Students have a mandatory profile - but this isn't a folder that roams and it doesn't exist on the share that hosts their profile. Neither have local admin rights on the workstations.

    At a loss really - the KB doesn't properly address the issue.
