I have recently installed the RTM version of Vista Business and discovered an interesting 'Feature'. When trying to install Adobe Reader 8.0 (Vista Version) I received 'Invalid Drive H:'. I tried to install it from the local machine first, then a share, with no luck. I removed the H: drive mapping, tried again with same results. I mapped H: to on of the CD/DVD ROM drives, same thing.
I then tried installing Digital Image Suite from a CD same results. I successfully installed MS Office 2007 and McAfee 8.5, one from a share and the other from a file on the local machine. I have not been able to install anything else receiving the same error.
I have searched the error and found no resolution to this and am hoping someone can shed some light on this.
Thanks,
