exchange 2007 - powershell increase mailbox size RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi all, i need to increase the size of a user mailbox in exchange 2007 but i cannot work out how to set the prohibit send and receive option using the powershell.

I am using the following command

    Set-Mailbox <username>-IssueWarningQuota 3500MB -ProhibitSendQuota 4000MB –UseDatabaseQuotaDefaults $false

but this misses out the prohibut send and receive setting which is blank when looking at the settings from the GIU in exchange.

    Any suggestions please?

    Thanks

Is it your intention that the mailbox should have no quota for
    ProhibitSendAndReceive?

Add "-ProhibitSendAndReceive 4500MB" to the "Set-Mailbox" cmdlet if
you want to set a quota.

I shouldn't recite things from memory. There's no "And" in the
    parameter:

    -ProhibitSendReceiveQuota 4500MB
