Conversation Translator Add-In for Skype for Business 2015 client RRS feed

  • Hi Manish,

    To this issue, please refer to the following steps to add conversation translator for Skype for business client:

    1. Install the Conversation Translator Add-In for Microsoft Lync

    2. Add the below Registry entries that will integrate the Plug-in with the Skype for Business Client, Copy the below text into a notepad file and save it as SFBTranslator.reg

  • The URL mentioned above in the register change seems to be down,  "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=68810&Lync=y" redirect to conversationtranslator.cloudapp.net" ? Any comment on that Jim Xu? Thanks

  • Hello friends,

    My conversation translation does not open anymore on skype for business, appreciate that this URL: "conversationtranslator.cloudapp.net", is out.

    Does anyone know anything else or are you going to change the URL to another?

  • Yes, the URL mentioned above http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=68810&Lync=y is no longer working.

    And hence Skype Translation has stopped working for me also.

    Any Suggestions.

    Does the App-in still working using the conversationtranslator.cloudapp.net URL or not?

    (Our SfB Clients does not show the component anymore because the URL is actually unreachable.)
