For your user role, can you check that there is a path set for user role data?
To do this,
- Go to the VMM Console and log in as an Administrator.
- Settings -> User Roles
- Select the user role you want to be able to upload files and open the properties
- Go to the Resources tab in the properties page
- At the bottom of the Resources tab is a path for "Specify user role data path"
- Make sure there is a value set here
With this field set, when a user who is a member of the role logs into App Controller they should see a folder that they are able to upload files to -- this is not under the cloud, this will sit below the Templates folder.
To upload files, the file must be in one of the network files shares that have been added to App Controller. You can select a file from this share and then paste this into the folder for the user role data.
