Port-forwarding and switching RRS feed

  • I am really a noob at this networking stuff, so I'm just going to go right to the question: .. can you port-forward on a switch? I know switchae operate on an L2 level..?  So I guess it's not going to work since it just does MAC addresses then.. well plz answer

  • well you can do port forwarding. But does your switch have such function ? Try using a layer 3 switch to do management function.
