Was 61 Day issue fixed RRS feed

  • Question

  • MS Project Server 2010 issue - can't approve time entry on a task that was created 61 days earlier.

I heard that this problem would be fixed in the June 2012 CU, but I'm reading about the update and do not see the issue listed as being fixed.

Is it fixed?  Where would I find it documented that it is fixed?

    Thank you!

  • The December 2011 CU fixes a similar issue with Workflows, however, I am not sure if the specific issue you mention has been fixed.

Assume that a workflow for a project is successfully completed. When you try to open the project by using PWA after 60 days, you receive the following error message:

Unable to open the project. The workflow associated with the project has been terminated unexpectedly.

I can however confirm that we have not seen this error after applying this CU.

  • I haven't tested / proved that it is fixed but I believe the June 2012 CU does fix this:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2598375

    Taken from the KB article:

"Buttons on the ribbon are disabled for certain tasks in the Approval Center. This issue is caused by a script error that occurs on the Approval Center page."

    Thanks
