    how to monitor syslog (linux server) and save the logs in the scom2012r2 servers ?

    could you please be more specific: do you want to monitor the Linux system in general or do you want to monitor logs?
    Do you mean backup the logs with "save the logs"?

    For how to monitor Linux Logs, please refer to the article below:

    And in my point of view, SCOM server do not save logs for those monitored linux server. If you want to save log on the server, you may need to create script based tasks to do this.

  • we already monitoring the linux in general.

    yes, we want to monitor log.
