[resolved] Skype for business with pstn and O365 hybrid. Entreprisevoiceenabled still false when moving user to O365 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello the community,

i have a skype for business 2015 with a sip trunk. call are working well.

i have a hybrid configuration with o365. and the hybrid is working. i can move user, move back, and communicate.

im trying to configure the call from O365 trought the onprem server. as this url

    https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/nagshettykadwadi/2017/12/17/configuring-phone-system-cloud-pbx-and-on-premises-pstn-connectivity-for-skype-for-business-online/

    i executed this : Set-CsUser –Identity testuser@contoso.com –EnterpriseVoiceEnabled $True –HostedVoicemail $True

i configured hostedvoicemail correctly i think.

i configured voiceroutingpolicy onprem , who is not sync too. empty @O365

and when i move the user to O365; even if i wait, the Enterprisevoiceenabled still false, and hostedvoicemail still not set

    Get-CsOnlineUser :

    get-csuser :

test Users have plan E5 licence.

and there is a pstn conferencing how is already configured on O365.

  • So you mean voice is not workin after user have been migrated to SFB Online?

On your on-premise SFB server, can you run:

    Get-CsVoiceRoutingPolicy -identity O365PhoneSystemOnpremRouting |fl

    What is the output?

  • The Enterprise Voice parameter doesn't sync, you will need to connect to SFBO PowerShell and run:

    set-csuser user@domain.com -EnterpriseVoiceEnabled $true

  • Not all E5 has PSTN license, this is normally an add-on you need to buy. Before it was called PBX or PSTN add-on, now not sure if it has been changed.

BTW, did you apply EnterpriseVoiceEnabled $true -HostedVoiceMail $true before or after user was migrated?
