Long Time To Open Folder RRS feed

  • Its taking very long time to open folder in win7. Earlier means few days back it was working good. I am unable to track reason for this. PLZ help

  • Did you installed any programs before problem start?

    Run Windows Update and install all updates and restart your PC.

    Try run defragment and disk clean up.

    As Cyber Defend Team said, please recall carefully what you have done before this situation firstly occurred, try rollback those operations to see if can fix problem.

    Besides, since slow issue occurred recently, system restore is worth considering. Refer to this link below for more information about how to restore system to a previous state.

    In addition, the speed of open file is usually related to disk, please check the health status of your disk, if it exists bad sectors, repair it to see the result.
